    Member of AVITECH – Nguyen Duc Hoang Trung – made a remarkable impression at the 2026 National Student Mathematics Olympiad

    Congratulations to the UET Mathematics Team for achieving outstanding results at the 2026 National Student Mathematics Olympiad, held from April 7 to April 11, 2026, at Quy Nhon University, Gia Lai.

    Competing in Division A (for Mathematics majors), the UET Mathematics Team delivered an excellent performance, winning 2 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, 4 Bronze Medals, and 2 Consolation Prizes.

    Details are as follows:

    • Gold Medal – Algebra: Lê Việt Hoàng (Computer Science)
    • Gold Medal – Calculus: Nguyễn Đức Hoàng Trung (Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology)
    • Silver Medal – Algebra: Lê Ngọc Khánh (Computer Science)
    • Bronze Medal – Algebra: Nguyễn Gia Khiêm (Data Science); Nguyễn Trung Kiên (Artificial Intelligence); Nguyễn Hải Nam (Computer Science)
    • Bronze Medal – Calculus: Nguyễn Đức Khiêm (Computer Science)
    • Consolation Prize – Calculus: Phạm Thiên Minh (Computer Science); Nguyễn Tiến Hải (Computer Science)

    The team consisted of 9 students competing in two subjects, Algebra and Calculus, under the guidance of Dr. Nguyễn Bích Vân and Dr. Phan Văn Tín from the VNU University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Institute of Artificial Intelligence.

    Congratulations to all the students and faculty members on this remarkable achievement!

    Students Lê Việt Hoàng and Nguyễn Đức Hoàng Trung (in yellow shirts) received Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam National Union of Students, awarded to the most outstanding participants of the competition.

    Student Nguyễn Đức Hoàng Trung (in yellow shirt) received the Gold Medal in Calculus (Division A).

    The UET Mathematics Team competed in Division A (the group for Mathematics majors).

    Once again, the AVITECH research group extends its congratulations on Hoàng Trung’s outstanding achievement.
