Within the framework of The International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2026), held from October 15 to October 17, 2026, the research group attended the conference with an accepted scientific paper presented during the program.
The paper entitled “Near-Field Channel Estimation via Deep Unfolding for Extremely Large-Scale Antenna Arrays” was conducted by master’s student Nguyen The Khang and fellow researchers. The study focuses on addressing the problem of near-field channel estimation for extremely large-scale antenna arrays (ELAA) in 6G networks.
Continuing the positive momentum, this research work excellently surpassed numerous high-quality presentations at the conference to be honored with the prestigious Best Paper Award.
Sharing his thoughts on the moment his name was announced at the award ceremony, Nguyen The Khang expressed:
The recognition at ATC 2026 continues to mark an important milestone, reaffirming the rigorous academic dedication and research excellence of the members of the AVITECH research group.
The AVITECH research group extends its warmest congratulations to Khang and the research team. We wish him continued success on his upcoming academic journey!
