At IPTA 2025 — the international conference on image processing theory, tools, and applications — Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Linh Trung and Prof. Guy Nagels were invited as two of the main Keynote Speakers, delivering the conference’s flagship opening lecture.
📌 Keynote Lecture Information
Title: “Machine Learning for Neuroimaging Diagnosis of Neurological Diseases”.
In this keynote, the two speakers will present recent advances and the potential of machine learning methods for diagnosing neurological diseases using biomedical imaging — including MRI, PET, EEG, and more. They also share insights into current challenges such as multimodal data integration, multi-disease diagnosis, privacy-preserving medical data handling, and the adoption of cost-effective diagnostic imaging techniques.
IPTA 2025 is a significant opportunity to introduce modern knowledge in brain imaging analysis and biomedical machine learning to the international community. Given the group’s expertise — including biomedical signal/image processing, EEG/MRI analysis, and tensor decomposition — the event presents valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and aligning future research directions with global trends.
